Hi, we’re Brandon & Kathy Eiff -
Over 20 years of physical trials including joint surgeries, pulmonary emboli, stroke, and raising a daughter with Down Syndrome has fortified our faith, amplified our need for customized holistic wellness solutions, taught us the importance of recovery, and ignited a passion in us to help others who are suffering to grow stronger spiritually and physically.
Brandon and Kathy met in college as Divison 1 athletes (Brandon in baseball, Kathy in Soccer). Brandon graduated with a BA in General Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Kathy graduated with a BA in both Intercultural Communication and Spanish. Post graduation, Kathy went on to teach Spanish and coach soccer at the Varsity High School level for 6 years. Brandon worked as a strength and conditioning coach for youth, college, and professional athletes as well as in the private fitness sector for a combined 15 years. Together, they have been coaching clients through holistic health solutions for 11 years. In addition to coaching, Kathy is also piloting and co-directing a classical Christian school for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities that will open its doors in the Fall of 2023. Brandon is an Administrator and Athletic Director at a local classical Christian school and is an ISSA-certified personal trainer and health coach.
Our Story
In 2011 our lives were radically changed when we encountered the transformative love of Jesus Christ. At the time, Brandon and I had a one-year-old son and were both working 12-hour work days a piece: Brandon in the private fitness industry and Kathy as a teacher and coach. Kathy’s personal health was at an all-time low at 35 lbs overweight and battling chronic migraines and fatigue. Brandon, while a strong and vibrant personal trainer and CrossFit competitor, was struggling with sustained energy, recovery, and his GI health. A year into our walk as Christians, we began to better understand that our bodies are temples for the Holy Spirit created for Kingdom purposes.
In 2012 we began to seek out more holistic health solutions. We quickly found that others, like us, were walking through their own health struggles and that we had found solutions that could benefit them as well. Our business informally began that year and in two years grew 650%.
In 2014 we established PLUCK Enterprises to better steward that which God had given us. The name “pluck” has a two-fold meaning. By definition it means “courage” and by acronym, it is the combination of our family of five’s middle initials. We understand the need for spiritual and physical strength in the face of trials and suffering. From Kathy’s near-fatal pregnancy with our second son to an international adoption that led us to our beautiful daughter who has Down syndrome, to Brandon’s spontaneous bilateral stroke, we have had the privilege to walk through heavy hardships, witness many miracles, and experience the love of Christ that has anchored us in His strength through it all. It is our passion to pay forward the lessons we have learned both in the physical and spiritual realm to help others overcome.
Now - we encourage and equip Christians across the country to live courageous lives for Christ in body and soul through a personalized approach to faith, food, and fitness.
